After more than 15 incredible years, Caribou Contests is saying goodbye.

With deep sadness, and following the passing of our beloved founder, Dr. Thomas Wolf, we have made the very difficult decision to cease all contest operations effective immediately.

Caribou began with a simple mission: to make math fun, accessible, and enriching for students everywhere. Thanks to the passion of our team and the support of educators, parents, partners, and over 50,000 students each year across 35+ countries, we’ve built something truly special together.

We know many of you may have questions about what comes next. As we begin the process of winding down, we kindly ask for your patience as we work to address outstanding matters thoughtfully and fairly. As part of Prof. Wolf’s legacy, we are working on making the games and resources on the Caribou website available to all students and site visitors free of charge. We’ll do our best to provide updates and support throughout this transition.

We hope being part of the Caribou Contests community has enriched your love of mathematics, because working with you has certainly enriched ours.
