This contest run completely smoothly apart from a 10 min server downtime on Wednesday morning. But the Internet provider learns from each contest and the event leading to the server downtime will not happen again.

Although having about 3000 fewer participant this October than October of last year, we had 1300 more participants this week than in November last year. We thank everyone involved, of course the
participants but also the teachers and parents.

The difficulty level of Magic Square game turned out to have been well balanced from 80% solution rate for grade K/1 to 38% of grade 11/12. We hope that you had a look at the 'Food For Thought' section of the game and got inspired to try formulating and proving theorems yourself.
